Before getting started, here are some tips and tricks for using the iTrail GPS Logger:

• Install the iTrail software and driver before plugging the device into your computer.
• In order for your computer to recognize and download data from your iTrail logger, you must first open the iTrail software.
• The iTrail software requires that your PC be connected to the Internet to function properly. Without Internet access, it will not be able to be registered or generate maps.
