A. Forget account name: If a camera is added under this account, then you can trackback your account by providing your camera Mac address to customer service. If you didn’t add a camera to the account, then there is no way to trackback.
B. Forget password: Fill in your account on App, and click "Forget Password" to reset your password.
The official standard is rechargeable batteries, there is no need to replace. If necessary, you can use the standard screwdriver to screw out two black screws on the back cover of the camera, remove the cover and replace the battery.
To delete all files on your Micro SD card and format it for local storage of using Defend X: If you want to keep any files that are on the Micro SD card, copy those files to another location before you format it. Make sure that the Micro SD card is already inserted into the card slot on Defend X. Press the left "<" button, and choose "Format TF" to format the Micro SD card.
To rename your camera: Launch the DefendCam app. Click or tap Settings > Camera Settings > Camera Name. Click or tap the camera that you want to rename. Enter a new name for your camera. Note: Camera names are limited to 12 characters. Click or tap Save in the upper-right corner. Your new camera name is saved.
A. To change your password on an iOS/Android device: Launch the DefendCam app. Tap Me > Avatar > Change password. Create a new password and confirm it. Tap Save to save your new password.
B. To change your password on a computer: Log in to your DefendCam account at www.wuyuantech.com. Tap Edit Profile. Enter your current password. Enter your new password and confirm it. Click Save to save your new password.Answer-5
Open DefendCam app, go to "Camera", you are able to turn on/off "Arm".
Open the DefendCam app, go to "Camera", tap "PIR Sensitivity" under "settings", and adjust the sensitivity you want. Low: Preferred when it triggers too much Normal: Recommended High: Preferred when it triggers too little
A. When the camera is at Arm Mode, the camera will be able to take and send photos/videos upon motion trigger/time-lapse settings, and among the process of sending, the setting changes will be synchronized to the camera also.
B. When the camera is at Disarm Mode, the camera doesn’t respond to motion triggers/time-lapse setting, thus no photo/video taking and sending process, and the camera will auto-connect to the server to synchronize the info per hour.
Note: No matter in what situation, to make sure the server info will be synchronized to the camera at least once a day, the camera is designed to wake up automatically to synchronize the info 23 hours later after the setting change.
Yes. You can do that, but for the safety purpose of your account, the account can be only logged in on one mobile device at the same time, which means when you log in your account on another device, your account on the previous device will be logged out.
A. Please make sure the camera is not added by another account. If it is already added, please delete it in the previous account (Take this step cautious since delete of the camera means delete of its photos stored on the cloud
B. Reset the existing WiFi on the camera
C. Make sure the camera WiFi (DefendX_******) is not connected by other mobile devices; If yes, please ignore it on your mobile device.
D. Add the camera as a new on the new account.
Under the condition that triggering 10 photos per day with an Internet connection, it will stand by to 6 to 9 months.
Yes. Defend X will work in freezing temperatures and are resistant to rain. In general, Defend X supports to work under temperature from -25℃ to 55℃.
